Zack | de Vito Architecture + Construction has created this modern wine country home located in the hills of Saint Helena, California. This 4,300 square foot, three-bed two-and-a-half bath dwelling was designed for a couple where entertaining and secluded contemplation was both a necessity. The residence has a natural flow with an open floor plan, high ceilings, and interconnected levels.

Cajun fish tacos with lychee salsa verde
Ingredients
- 2 white fish fillets
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 small tortillas warmed
Lychee salsa verde
- Half cup fresh lychees, peeled and seeded plus extra for decoration

The Japanese post-war architect was praised for his forward-thinking approach, deep commitment to the ‘art of space,’ and transnational methodology since the 1960s. His work has helped create a dialogue between the East and West, reinterpreting global influences within architecture, and supporting the development of younger generations in the field.
