A luxury mountain retreat with views of Colorado’s Rocky

This luxury mountain retreat was designed by Charles Cunniffe Architects, perched on a windswept rocky mountainside above Aspen, Colorado. The exquisite interiors reflect a unique blend of Art Deco with clean contemporary detailing along with 36 species of wood.

The challenge began when the Florida-based owners commissioned the architects to responsibly deconstruct much of the existing house, and design a home that fused art-deco and contemporary mountain-modern design.
